My name is Irine and I described myself as an adventure-loving, travel photographer and digital content creator. I am originally from The Great Rift Valley in Kenya Africa and now, I reside in Seattle, Washington.
On this platform I will be addressing three main topics;
- I will be sharing my hiking experiences and adventures in the United States as well as tips to getting you started on hiking.
- I will be sharing my travel experiences and stories in Kenya, Africa on my YouTube channel. My hope and desire is for the world to see Magical Kenya in a different light from the unfortunate images we often see on TV.
- Lastly, I will be holding conversations with different guests on my YouTube channel, ‘travel with irine’ about the social and economic issues that affect the African diaspora and the community at large here in USA and in Kenya, Africa.
Why you might ask? I have always been curios to listen and share stories that are important in the community. And I also have a strong desire to change the way people think about the African continent. We are all worthy of telling our stories and having them heard.
If I wasn’t doing what I am currently engaged in, I would probably be a psychologist, an actor, journalist or a shitty comedian. And you’ll definitely observe these four aspects about me in my YouTube videos. There are times when I will appear super serious and engaged in a topic and all of a sudden my comic side will come out. So you are in for an exciting journey.
