10 Amazing Summer Hikes near Seattle, Washington
1. Mail Peak Trail- North Bend Area
I used the new trail going up and down the trail; you get more miles that way ☺
Distance: 5.4 Old Trail & 9.4 miles roundtrip
Drive Time from Seattle: Around 1 hour
Parking Pass: Discovery Pass
Elevation: Gain 4000 ft & the highest point 4822 ft.
2. Mt Si- North Bend Area
Distance: 8.0 miles, roundtrip
Drive Time from Seattle: About 1 hour
Parking Pass: Discovery Pass
Elevation: Gain1350ft & the highest point 3900 ft.
3. Little Si- North Bend Area
Distance: 4.7 miles, roundtrip
Drive Time from Seattle: Around 1 hour
Parking Pass: Discovery Pass
Elevation: Gain1300ft & the highest point 1550 ft.
4. Denny Creek Trail
Distance: 6.0 miles, roundtrip
Drive Time from Seattle: Around 1 hour
Parking Pass: Northwest Forest Pass
Elevation: Gain1345ft & the highest point 3642 ft.
5. Mirror Lake Trail near Snoqualmie Pass
Distance: 2.2 Miles
Drive Time from Seattle: Around 1 hour
Elevation: Gain 870ft and the highest point 4200ft
Parking Pass: Northwest Forest Pass
You will come across Cottonwood Lake. If you like to make it a longer hike you go via the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) to make it and make it 7mile hike.
6. Lake 22- North Cascades, Mountain Loop Highway
Distance: 5.4 Miles, roundtrip
Drive Time from Seattle: Around 1 hour
Elevation: Gain 1350 ft and the highest point 2400ft
Parking Pass: Northwest Forest Pass
7. Heather Lake- North Cascades, Mountain Loop Highway
Distance: 4.6 Miles roundtrip
Drive Time from Seattle: Around 1 hour
Elevation: 1034ft and the highest point 2430ft
Parking Pass: Northwest Forest Pass
8. Big Four Ice Caves- North Cascades, Mountain Loop Highway
Distance: 2.2 miles roundtrip
Drive Time from Seattle: Around 1 hour
Elevation: 220ft and the highest point 1938ft

9. Pratt Lake Basic
Distance: 11 miles roundtrip
Drive Time from Seattle: Around 1 hour
