Here is the ultimate guide to help you party your way around Dubai with a 30 hour layover at the Dubai Airport.
If you arrive at the Dubai Airport early in the morning, as I did, take a taxi to JW Marriott Marquis Dubai. Be sure to request an early check-in in advance. If a room isn’t ready, check your bags and have breakfast. After breakfast, chill by the amazing pool.
At 9:30, leave for the Abu Dhabi tour. I chose the half-day tour to leave time for other things during the day.
They drop you back by 1:30 p.m. Visit JBR (an ice cream place) and explore the area or take a taxi to the city walk, ideal for people watching. Return to the hotel, check in, and prepare for a night out.
Enjoy the hotel’s happy hour and then head to Iris Dubai Lounge & Restaurant, where they have awesome live band.
From Iris, party at the Billionaire Mansion or any other dancing club.
